Villa Garraf

Here comes the sun, and I say it’s all right.

On the Garraf coast, a luxury property developer and construction firm commissioned a project that seems to float atop a complex terrain, melding with every contour of the landscape and caressing the Mediterranean horizon with refined serenity.

The main volume unfolds in a series of stepped platforms, tracing the natural slope, and clings to the hillside with local stone walls and glass façades that create an unbroken dialogue between inside and out. Daylight-filled living areas spill seamlessly onto the terrace: the roof plane barely breaks over the void, allowing the lounge to drift into the salty breeze.

Here, “new luxury” is not about ostentation but lightness: lofty, open spaces, simple flow, and Mediterranean plantings that dance in the breeze. It’s a place where the architect’s hand intervened only as much as needed, leaving the landscape to remain the true protagonist.
