Serà una gran festa, no diguis que no.

In a house in the Vallès, we’ve designed the perfect extension for a Catalan couple whose three children—grilling aficionados—come home at every chance for a barbecue or calçotada.
The heart of the project is a party-ready pavilion: a wood‑fired oven for quick pizzas, a built‑in barbecue for chops, and a massive table that even the laziest cousins can’t resist. In summer, hanging candles and trailing plants turn it into a bohemian terrace; in winter, just slide the panels shut and voilà—rustic sauna vibes to keep the celebration going under cozy blankets!

And here’s the best detail: that old stone‑stacked wall that once threatened to swallow the garden is now the star of a little interior courtyard. Sunlight pours in, the joinery frames the rocks like modern art, and breezes sweep through to freshen the pavilion—jealousy‑inducing even on the coldest day.

There’s no shortage of spark: durable materials, straightforward solutions, and a healthy pinch of humor. The result is a space that lives and breathes with every toast and every turn of the calçots.
Because at the end of the day, the best gatherings are born from good barbecue and even better laughter!
